On March 3rd, we visited one of the Caruso Elementary Kindergarden classes, Mrs. Pisani. We had a wonderful celebration of the children author, Dr Suess, in honor of his birthday. We had storytime, we had birthday cake, goodie bags & books. The books were donated from all the members of our club, helping our community flourish. Last month we had a speaker come to our meeting. Patrice Berman, who started the Leaving A Legacy project. She created it as a memorial to her husband, Eddie. In conjunction with Raising Hope for Others charity, they make comfort bags for anyone in need of comfort. This serves a local need, bringing neighbors together to support each other during trying times. We hope to be doing more for this cause. Her lecture was inspiring & informative. During the holiday season, we had our Annual Cookie Exchange & Santa Letters. We helped Santa write out almost 40 letters to children and included activity pages & stickers for them to enjoy. The variety of cookies were delicious. It was a wonderful evening.

“Souper Bowl” Food Drive 2020 – Thank you! Unity by the Shore, Youth Director, Gwendolyn Lewis organized a "Souper Bowl" Food Drive for Calico Cat Pantry & Cupboard. It was a huge success. Youths of UBTS learned that small things can make a difference in others' lives. We as a community came together to have some fun & to spread our love through giving. As of November 29th , our five Gift Trees are in place. Many thanks to Carolyn, Sue, Cheryl, and Barbara for setting them in place, and to Cheryl, Bobbi, Kathy, Joan, Joyce, Joan, Sue, and Bernadette for periodically collecting the gifts.
